The larger cities in the Piedmont Triad are Winston-Salem, High Point and Greensboro.
The Piedmont Triad is ideally situated with the Atlantic Ocean only four hours away and the Blue Ridge Mountains within an hour’s drive. This makes it ideal to live here and take advantage of short day or weekend trips.
Our location celebrates all four seasons but has a long fall and spring season. The summers are not too hot and the winters are not to cold. The east coast location, midway between Washington, DC and Atlanta at the junction of both north/south and east/west major highways, has made the location a top choice for relocating and expanding companies. We are connected by Interstates 40, 85, 73 and 74 and are served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport.
Health care and educational facilities are numerous in the Triad. Major art and historical museums contribute to the cultural climate of the region. No matter where you live in the Piedmont Triad, there are plenty of recreational driven activities for those who like hiking, biking, boating, fishing and golfing.
